This video features the "Nova Rover," an innovative military defense project developed by school children (6th to 9th grade) in Pune, India. The project was inspired by the Chandrayaan mission and designed to reduce soldier casualties by using advanced technology for surveillance and combat.

Key Features of the Nova Rover:

  • Main Rover: Equipped with an airsoft gun, a USB camera, and uses AI for motion detection and automated aiming upon remote command [00:02:35]. The students plan to upgrade it with face detection AI for fully automatic engagement in the future [00:03:29].
  • Backup Systems: The system includes a mini-rover (Plan B) that releases tear gas to distract enemies and incorporates a metal detector for detecting landmines [00:04:04], along with a drone (Plan C) capable of launching missiles [00:04:55].
